Welcome to USQ Rugby

The USQ Rugby Club welcomes you to Toowoomba and the Darling Downs. 

We hope you settle in and begin to enjoy the great lifestyle we have here.  USQ is the most successful Rugby Union club in the history of rugby on the Darling Downs.  We field four grades and being a uni-based club we’re going to have players leave each year, so we want YOU to join us this year.

You’ll have a lot of fun playing rugby USQ style, and you’ll see some of the country too. The Darling Downs rugby zone includes Goondiwindi, Warwick, St.George, Roma, Condamine, Dalby and Kingaroy and each of these towns has some really excellent pubs including our pub, the Federal.  Our bus driver knows them all.  If you’re good enough there’s a chance you could represent the Downs, or go on to play for Queensland Country.

How to find us

The USQ Rugby Club is on Oval #3 behind Steele Rudd College on Baker Street.  Head west along Baker Street into the sunset and turn left just before the AFL ground.  If you keep going and reach the rugby league oval, you might as well keep going because there’s a bowls club at the bottom of the hill that might suit you better. 

The USQ Rugby Club welcomes rugby supporters to all our games, so bring your girlfriend(s), mate or parents, but in whatever way you join us, you’ll always be welcome at the best rugby club in town.
